I am a life long Sacramento River Delta resident. Looking back on my life today, I realize now that at a young age I developed the love and respect for the character and quiet scenic beauty of the area that has become an integral part of my life and work today. I have intimately come to know the value of quiet moments spent along the rivers, sloughs, canals and fields of the California Delta as a precious source of natural beauty, reflection, inner peace and inspiration.

I integrate my love for the Delta with my passion as an artist and scenic photographer. I find my life experiences and spiritual perspective adds depth and substance to my work that helps me convey both the beauty and tranquility I see in feel in the Delta’s natural beauty with reverence and respect.

I strive to produce scenic images, fine art prints, note cards, and other artistic media that is pleasing to the eye, resonate with the heart and convey quiet peace and tranquility found in the natural beauty that still exists there.

Through my work as a California Delta scenic photographer, artist, graphic designer, writer and public speaker, I hope to build awareness of the value of natural beauty as a source of serenity, reflection and inner peace, along with the need to wisely care for the California Delta and its unique natural beauty and habitat.

I am honored and humbled each time someone comments about the beauty of my work. My response to these much appreciates comments is:

“I don’t create the natural beauty so abundant here in the Delta - God does. My job is to capture that beauty and artistically present it so others can enjoy it.”
